1781 Collective Christmas Carol
To be performed at the Annual Christmas Party, by the Official Carol Bearer.
Santa Clause is fake.
That’s until you take,
A special kind of mushroom,
That makes reality break.
Trees, covered in glitter,
And snowflakes fall inside
Just take a little mushroom
And then you can decide, if,
Santa Clause is fake.
Just until you take,
A special kind of mushroom
That makes reality break.
Tiny elves are working,
Yet they haven’t unionised
Well just take a tiny mushroom,
And then you can decide, whether,
Santa Clause is fake.
But only until you take,
A special kind of mushroom,
That makes reality break.
Cheap wine mulled with spices,
From countries colonialised,
Just take a few more mushrooms
And you won’t be surprised, that,
Santa Clause is real!
Believe in my appeal,
That taking all these mushrooms,
Can really make you feel, that…
Gingerbread, Roast Turkey,
A fat old man with cookies,
Tinsel being pretty, and Germans being cute.
These are merely some of the things,
Which mean you can’t refute, that.
Santa Clause is fake.
Unless you make the mistake,
Of taking too many mushrooms
So that, your reality breaks.
