The 1781 Collective Presents:

A Perfume Concert. A series of notes and chords on violin and piano paired to fragrances designed by Berlin independent parfumerie, Atelier Oblique

Ever wondered how a perfume evolves from an abstract idea to a scent that defines the wearer? Have you ever wondered what a 'perfume chord' is, and why it is important? Are you simply looking for your new, rare and distinguisable fragrance?

Artistic Director and Founder of Atl. Oblique, Mario Lombardo, will present an introduction to the world of fine fragrances, explaining his unique process of coming up with the concepts behind the Atelier Oblique collection, and what inspirations are behind five of his most celebrated creations.

Following the talk, members of the 1781 Collective will perform five classical music works specifically chosen to match the five perfumes, with audiences sampling each work simultaneously.
